The MedInfo redesign project took a total of 4 steps to project deliverables.
- Step 1: Requirements Gathering
We interviewed the pharmacist and other workers at the pharmacy to get an understanding of why people would use this system, why they do use this system, and why they do not use the system. We received much feedback about how the redesign could be implemented, but we found valuable information while asking about the initial requirements for this informational kiosk. We were working with constraints held by the pharmacy, such as layout, customer demographics, and pharmacy preference.
Step 2: Initial DesignWe came up with this initial design as a result of our requirements gathering. We designed an external panel with IR detection that would hopefully attract customers to use the system and would eventually trigger a video teaser to get their attention.
